A nuclear detonation button that has a lot of steps to grant access to the actual button. From having possession of the key that lets you turn it on to, to the fingerprint verification, various safety check-ins, you don't want anyone to be able to use it! Safety comes first.
It's kinda funny, if we're worrying so much about safety, why make a nuclear device from the first place?
